The versatility of this design meant the cattle containers could be loaded individually onto four wheeled flat wagons like KQ and KMQ or loaded in threes on longer FQF bogie flat wagons.\r\n\r\nLater in April 1987 30 MC containers were transferred to NSW for livestock traffic. Ironically they were initially placed onto NQSF container wagons which were converted from bogie sheep wagon underframes.
