In 1911 CME Lucy, who’d replaced Thow, introduced 78 cars with a Low-elliptical roof cross-section. In 1911-12 the final 54 cars were delivered with a new High-elliptical roof cross-section.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp align=\"left\"\u003eThe new cars were marshalled into 5 -, 6 – and 8 car sets, however this was constantly changing due to traffic demands and conversions. The balance of the cars were loose stock and available on demand to build up set sizes.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp align=\"left\"\u003eMany changes occurred during the life of these cars, the addition of internal toilets for Tourist and Intercity working, an Improved Brake end for Guards accommodation in the later sets and the conversion of many cars into special requirement stock.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp align=\"left\"\u003eThe Austrains NEO models feature many improved and new features from the first production run.
