Kato 3092-1 EF210 300 N Scale
The EF210-300 is a powerful DC electric freight locomotive used mainly on Japan’s Tokaido and Sanyo Main Lines. Compared
to the earlier EF210-100, this version features a longer body (+400mm), larger shock-absorbing couplers, and a redesigned
front skirt. Its distinctive yellow side stripe and the iconic “Momotaro” character graphic make it a standout addition to any
modern freight layout.
◆ This reissue includes traction tires for added pulling power—ideal for long freight trains. While the specs are unchanged
from previous releases, the JAN code and price have been updated. A starter set featuring the EF210-300 and Koki 107
container flatcars is also being re-released. The included 40-foot high-cube containers from ONE (Ocean Network Express)
feature the bold “ONE” logo in a new gray color scheme exclusive to this release.
◆ The Koki 107 cars have also been updated to match current prototypes: JRF logos, no-shunting warnings, and inspection
marks have been removed. A new three-car container set will be available at the same time—perfect for building or
expanding a contemporary freight consist!
