Description

The Miners Cottage is a representation of the typical workers cottage found throughout small towns around Queensland. They typically had a bedroom in the front of the house, and the living room on the other side of the front. Rear was the dining room and kitchen or kitchen/dining room and second bedroom. They featured tongue and groove timber walls, or weatherboard construction.
